Bouldin bound for Greece
Former Gonzaga guard Matt Bouldin has signed with Iraklis Thessaloniki, an A-1 (top pro division) team in Greece.
“This is a great opportunity, to be playing in one of the best leagues in Europe,” said Stu Lash, Bouldin’s agent.
Bouldin earned three first-team All-WCC honors and was the conference’s player of the year as a senior.
Bouldin, who was not selected in the NBA Draft, played for the Chicago Bulls summer league team, but was slowed by a nagging injury that stretched back into his senior season at GU. After summer league ended in mid July, Bouldin had surgery to remove bone spurs.
