Chiefs deal Cratsenberg

Dave Trimmer

The Spokane Chiefs have traded seldom used forward T.C. Cratsenberg to Chilliwack for a conditional eight-round pick in the 2012 Bantam Draft.

Originally a sixth-round pick out of Federal Way, Wash., in 2007, Cratsenberg has appeared in just five of the Chiefs’ 10 games this year and only 25 last year. In those games he had just one assist but 55 penalty minutes.

“Considering the dynamics of our current roster T.C. was going to have a tough time getting the ice time that he deserved,” Chiefs General Manager Tim Speltz said. “Hopefully he can take advantage of the opportunity in Chilliwack. We wish him the best of luck.”
