ASU leads WSU 28-0 at halftime
COUGARS
A quick post because we have a lot to do at halftime today. The Washington State defense just can’t get off the field on third down, as ASU has converted 5 of 7 times on either third or fourth down to keep drives alive. … WSU has moved the ball OK after an ice-cold start, but Jeff Tuel hasn’t been sharp at all, throwing a couple of bad interceptions and missing an open Wilson for what would have been a score. In his defense, however, ASU’s defensive line, led by freshman Junior Onyeali, has been in his face all game. No sacks, but a lot of hurries and pressures. We’ve tweeted the stats. More later.
