St. Maries Mayor Wins Logging Contest

A newcomer and the mayor of St. Maries claimed top honors in the 2010 Paul Bunyan Days logger competition. Mayor Tami Holdahl claimed her 10th title as the top female logger, taking first place in four different events on Sunday, including the Power Saw, Cross Cut, Choker Set and Jack & Jill. Jeremy Barden of St. Maries laid claim as the top male logger at Paul Bunyan Days for the first time with his win this year, despite the fact that he did not compete in any of Sunday’s logging events.
