By the twelfth day of Trial
Mr. Brannon promised us:

Twelve days of nothing,
Eleven others wasted,
Ten leaps to conclusion.
Nine ladies voted -
Eight of them counted.
Seven lawyers shouting.
Six of them earning:
Five lawyers’ rings.
Four calls for food:
Three French fries,
Two turtle necks,
And a part rage in a court room!
