Plane Crash Kills Father, Son Near CdA
A plane crash south of Coeur d’Alene Friday killed a father and son from Wyoming, officials announced today. Craig Dwayne Kestner, 50, and his son, Brock Sterling Kestner, 21, died after their single-engine Cessna 210 crashed about 5:10 p.m. in a wooded area about 10 miles south of Coeur d’Alene near Red Hog Ridge. Sheriff’s officials initially said they believed only one man was aboard the plane, but two victims were discovered upon further investigation.
