Vote for debt restraint

I will be voting for Daryl Romeyn to represent me in Congress come November, and I urge everyone else in the 5th Congressional District to do the same. He believes in paying for any spending done in Washington rather than racking up massive federal debts.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers has voted numerous times for budgets that are mortgaging our children’s future. Not only that, but lately it appears she is more interested in being seen standing behind John Boehner for photo ops than in helping out the people of our district. She’s a career politician who has been in the establishment since college. She voted against a “pay-go” provision earlier this year which would have forced the government to pay for new spending increases. Yet she talks about a balanced budget amendment?

Does she know how difficult it is to pass an amendment to the Constitution? It is completely out of her control. What is in her control is voting for pay-go and other such bills when they come up for a vote. Let’s elect a representative who will. Elect Daryl Romeyn.
