Not another developer

Surely Spokane County voters will not create an all-Republican county commission that is solidly pro-developer. It is especially hard to believe they would elect Al French, who is a developer himself. Would they ignore all sense of balance?

You only have to check the contributions at the Public Disclosure Commission to confirm that local politics, just like at the state and national level, is mostly influenced by those with the money and the power to persuade and influence. Those who own most of the county run most of the county.

We need to elect a candidate like Bonnie Mager who is not obligated to the rich and the powerful. And certainly it is hard to believe a developer like Al French with his reputation could displace her.

I am confident that the people will choose unquestioned integrity and quiet forcefulness over Al French.
