Mager serves the people

I met Bonnie Mager more than 10 years ago when she was involved with the Alliance of Spokane County Neighborhoods as a community organizer. Bonnie was tireless in her dedication to resolving issues involving Spokane’s neighborhoods. She worked long hours and did a lot with very little funding, resources and loaned office equipment and space. She carefully weighed the pros and cons of each situation, was fair-minded, accessible and always did her best to see that everyone had a chance to be heard.

I believe it was the beginning of a great education about the concerns and challenges of our region and the start of her interest in representing the people of Spokane.

Nothing has changed, Bonnie is still a tireless worker and the people of Spokane are still her “special interest.” I’m glad to have the balance that she brings to our city and county. We need to retain Bonnie as Spokane County commissioner.
