When you’re a Mariners’ fan, you jump on any glimmer of hope you get. Last night, the M’s looked like a different team than they did last year. in 2010, if the Mariners had fallen behind 2-0 in the first inning as they did last night with Felix Hernandez on the mound, they would have lost 2-0 or 2-1. In Oakland Friday night, they battled Oakland pitchers for full counts and walks, and ultimately scored 6 runs. They only scored 6 runs for Felix 3 times in 2010. Who knows?
