Shock release Hemphill

Chris Hemphill’s stay in Spokane was a short one. He was signed last week when linebacker Antwan Marsh (concussion) couldn’t play in the Kansas City game.

Hemphill left in the first half of Spokane’s win over Kansas City with a quad injury and didn’t return. On Wednesday, the Shock released the 6-foot-5 linebacker/wide receiver. Spokane has a bye this week and Marsh is expected to be ready to go next week.
