Letter: Law’s fallout unaddressed

First, I want to commend the family values Republicans in Idaho for passing this new abortion law which outlaws any abortions after 20 weeks and includes no exceptions for rape, incest, severe fetal abnormality or the mental or psychological health of the mother.

My second commendation is for not providing nor funding the health care for those unfortunate children and mothers. Should those children survive to school age, then they can also be sure that our family value people have cut the budget for their education as well as potentially needed Medicaid.

Of course, those not educated properly still have the possibility to sign up for our armed forces and be sent to war with the chance to die even before they are legally allowed to drink a beer. Naturally, the children of our political and financial elite are spared that fate, since very few of them serve in the armed forces.

Only one word fits those Idaho Republicans who voted for this bill: Hypocrites!
