No tears for offender

So, the infamous Eddie Ray Hall is going to prison for 16 years, and we’re supposed to feel sorry for him. Really?

For him to blame his 35-year reign of terror on PTSD caused by getting shot while committing a burglary, combined with the statement that “I never set out to hurt anyone,” would be laughable except for the pain and expense he has cost our community.

Mr. Hall, we also hope you find help for your drug addiction, but you won’t get any sympathy here. If you feel the need to cry, how about shedding a few tears for the hard-working folks of our fine city that have financed your lifestyle for the past three and a half decades.
