Landry makes it official

Midland College wing Guy Landry, who verbally committed to Gonzaga last weekend, followed up by signing his letter of intent this morning. I talked to Midland coach Ross Hodge about Landry for an article that will run in Friday’s S-R.

Landry is from France and he will have to go through the NCAA Clearinghouse process.

A couple of updates: Marquise Carter, who hurt his wrist late in the St. John’s game, and Robert Sacre, who had wrist issues for a good portion of the season, had MRIs that showed nothing of long-term concern. Both have been able to play and go through conditioning this spring.

Also, Kelly Olynyk and Mike Hart received WCC All-Academic honors, along with three GU women’s players. Also on the list is San Diego’s Matt Dorr (Mt. Spokane High, CCS product). More here .
