Ballots confusing

The parties responsible for wording some of the questions and initiatives on the ballot are masters of obfuscation. Where we are asked to amend a certain law or WAC section, that section should either be quoted in its entirety or at least described well enough that an average citizen knows what he/she is voting for or against. That wasn’t done.

As it is, neither my wife nor I understood exactly what many of the issues were about. It seems that those who design the ballot don’t really want us to understand or focus on the crux of the matter.

Every election seems to have an inherent glitch. At least we didn’t have to worry about hanging chads this time!
