Government mismanaged

If you aren’t anxious and angry about the way the government is being managed, you’re either not paying attention or you should expand your sources of information.

To comprehend the problem, disregard ideology and emotion and just do the math. If your household income is approximately $45,000 annually but you spend $75,000, you would be reckless and irresponsible. This is what the federal government is doing.

We haven’t had a federal budget in over two years. Forty percent of government financing is by borrowing or printing.

The nearly $2 trillion in TARP and stimulus money went to wealthy friends and political allies.

We are at war with big government. Over 50 percent of adults receive at least one federal check each month, and the same percentage don’t pay federal income tax. This policy will guarantee the demise of America.

The government can’t manage efficiently because it is a monopoly, yet it controls most of health care, retirement and education. Just imagine if the government controlled all grocery stores.

We must have a comprehensive restructuring and reduction of our government, a new fair/flat tax code and balanced budget amendment, which President Barack Obama has said he would veto.
