Poll: Man Right To Shoot Grizzly
- Wednesday Poll: Overwhelmingly, Hucks Nation voted that Boundary County resident Jeremy Hill acted correctly when he shot a 2-year-old grizzly bear that wandered into his yard with two cubs, while his children were outside. 139 of 184 respondents (75.54%) said Hill, who faces federal charges as a result of his action, did the right thing. Only 18 of 184 respondents (9.78%) said he acted improperly. 27 (14.67%) were undecided.
- Correction: Apparently, Boundary County Sheriff’s Department is now saying that the grizzly killed by Hill was one of the two cubs, a 2-year-old silvertip, not the mother grizzly.
- Today’s Poll: Should the local Boy Scouts sell Camp Easton on Lake Coeur d’Alene to Gozzer Ranch developer Discovery Land Co.?
