Bobcats: End ‘Money Games’?

An associate athletic director at Montana State says the school’s newly remodeled football stadium could mean the end of so-called “money games.” The Bobcats have played opponents from the Football Bowl Subdivision in each of the past 12 years and the team will receive a $375,000 guarantee for its game against Utah on Thursday night. But senior associate athletic director Dan Davies tells the Great Falls Tribune ( http://bit.ly/ran4rA ) that because MSU’s stadium now has a capacity of more than 17,000, the school should be able to make enough money to play another home game they can win rather than risking a road loss for the payout.
