Stop Social Security theft
We are witnessing the biggest theft of not only this century, but of the past two, and nothing is being done to stop it. I am talking about the Social Security Trust Fund.
It isn’t being done by the unknown, such as criminals, but by our own Congress and the president.
These big spenders of our money have the gall to not only rob defenseless widows and children, but they write useless checks, thinking that they will never be cashed.
I am not talking about a few dollars, but since 1958 over $2 trillion has been squandered, with over half of the money spent since 2001.
Some of the proposals would privatize Social Security by investing the money in the stock market. That is a gamble that is close to being a throwing of dice, but with millions of retirees’ lives at risk. The trust fund and the stock market are like oil and water: They don’t mix.
There is an old saying, “Don’t put any money in the stock market that you can’t afford to lose.”
Please call or write your congressperson soon. I think a few thousand letters will stop this madness.
