Stop financing the 1 percent

Those in the 99 percent should find out what the 1 percent are selling and stop buying it. Hedonistic wealth probably doesn’t mind the masses voicing their views as long as that has no effect. Violence is simply wrong, not to mention counterproductive, so should be rejected.

Economic change causes social change, so the 99 percent should stop funneling their resources to the 1 percent by shifting their purchasing habits in ways that deny resources to things oppressive, and redirect it to things egalitarian.

Also, vilifying those who oppose positive change speaks in favor of conflict. It comes from an “us against them” mentality that can only perpetuate conflict, not end it. So it is better to speak to inspire those who seem to oppose this change than to speak to condemn them – even while refusing to buy their stuff.

Because ultimately the goal is to have no ratio of “us vs. them,” even if that ratio is 99 of us to only one of them. The ultimate goal is 100 percent. No them; or in other words “just us,” which sounds a lot like “justice,” doesn’t it?
