Who killed JFK?

In the Nov. 23 article “Dallas marks JFK death,” the unnamed author refers to “assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.” Since Oswald was never tried and convicted for murder, perhaps a more accurate characterization might be “suspected assassin” or “alleged assassin.”
