Save nature, not people

The Sierra Club’s spokesman, John Osborn (Dec. 2), is correct. We shouldn’t put anything into the Spokane River even though we have the latest in sewage treatment plants. To save the river, we will need to do several things.

First, do away with toilets, sinks and bathtubs. Instead we will spread our night soil on our lawns, streets and vacant lots. Second, limit families to one child. After all, it is the growth of our population that has caused an increase in the amount of sewage we generate. Third, all people over age 65 will not be allowed any medical care other than pain medication or marijuana.

A side benefit is there will be little money needed for Social Security or Medicare. Fourth, any newborn requiring medical care will be allowed to die. This is the ultimate goal of the Sierra Club: Save nature and get rid of the human race.
