Zags roll again

Gonzaga was a little slow getting untracked offensively but the defense never wavered in a 82-42 win over Loyola Marymount.

As usual, Courtney Vandersloot led the way with her 12th double-double, 21 points and 12 assists. She is three shy of 1,000 helpers for her career. Kayla  Standish added 20 points and Shannon Reader had a career-high 10 off the bench.

Ranahy Young had 15 for LMU, which shot 32 percent to 52 for the Zags. LMU also had 20 turnovers and was poundedo n the boards 46-29.
