Gambling not best plan

Pride in a town does not come from building another casino, it comes from giving the whole community something they can enjoy and be proud of. It comes from family-friendly activities such as bike trails, Hoopfest and Bloomsday.

Why doesn’t the Spokane Indian Tribe use its newly acquired land for a family-friendly cultural fun zone, an indoor water park or a great theme restaurant. A place to take families and out-of-town guests.

Investigate. Do something really creative with the land. Something we all can enjoy and be proud of. Something that will make us say, “Look what the Spokane Tribe has done! This is great!”
