Questionable covenant

It is stunning to behold U.S. Congress members hosting a National Prayer Breakfast every year in the first week of February.

How do Congress members whose hearts and souls have grown obese with clever lies and slick slander even recognize the God of Truth, let alone commune with this God?

How do they ascend a mountain of countless cadavers created by their “patriotic” wars and abide there with the Prince of Peace?

It is a revelation to see them multiply the loaves and fishes at their breakfast table while their Acts of Congress multiply the poor, sick and homeless outside their fortified doors.
