Stick with tradition

Again I am embarrassed when our national anthem is sung at an event where thousands are listening – the Super Bowl. Ashamed the way the song was sung, and not knowing the words even more so.

I have nothing against the people singing – that’s their style. Sing it like you learned it. How embarrassing for our men and women in and out of uniform listening to America’s song. I personally feel the requirement for singing our national anthem in public should be to just sing it without all the “added in junk.” Better yet, give the audience a cue and let everyone sing it.
