Law ignores vets’ needs

Anti-discrimination laws are as good as they are enforced; they should be the law of the land. Oddly excluded from the Americans With Disabilities Act are America’s disabled post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) veterans. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers has many constituents who are veterans disabled for life. Her veterans voting record is the worst in Congress, according to DAV, VFW and congressional voting records. (See www.americans-working-together. com/id107.html)

  • No more than 250 words
  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
  • With each letter, include your daytime phone number and street address.
  • The Spokesman-Review retains the nonexclusive right to archive and re-publish any material submitted for publication.
