Shea target of retaliation

As much as I like Bob McCaslin, he can’t bequeath his Senate seat.

Precinct committee officers were angry when discovering Olympia and local cronies’ backroom deals had Padden to win, Shea to lose. Precinct committee officers are elected by registered voters in the general election. These party leaders submitted the names. It’s brazen of County Commissioner Todd Mielke to scorn legitimate election results.

Rep. Matt Shea, no one’s puppet, is a victim of political retaliation. Commissioner Mielke, a consummate politician and political horse whisperer, omitted Shea’s outstanding resume in lieu of gossip. Mielke obviously dislikes Shea and staged his “ethical dilemma.” Mielke chose his moment, to drop juicy gossip to tarnish Shea’s outstanding military record that includes a bronze star for valor.

Commissioner Mielke, who prefers backroom whispers over content, needs to get a pair of man pants when he is faced with a true patriot who speaks out loud. How ridiculous to accuse Shea of “verbal assault.” Grow Up.

Politicians will stoop to manipulate public opinion, but we are now armed with their names. Remember and don’t leave a good man behind. Stand with Matt Shea and refuse to entertain character assassination.
