Striking abuses students

It is very disturbing how the teachers and their unions in Wisconsin are closing schools in demonstration. The very people we charge to educate our children are now exploiting our own children as part of their shameful schemes against us. I can’t help but see this as a form of child abuse.

Our elected officials must see the writing on the wall and pass legislation to prevent teachers and their unions from using our innocent children as part of their demonstrations and schemes.

Gov. Gregoire and other elected officials in Olympia claim to highly value education in our state. Gov. Gregoire can show how much she values our children’s education by supporting legislation that would revoke the credentials of any teacher or teachers group that is found to cause or support school closure as a means of demonstration. And I would support looking into the possibility of making charges of child abuse in these cases.

Next time the teachers and their unions say we need to spend more money to help the children, remember what the Wisconsin teachers and their unions are NOW doing to the children! Clearly, they don’t have the children’s best interest at heart.
