Weather report unsettled
It is clear that David Camp (Letters, Feb. 19), not unlike most other global warming believers, does not like to hear opposing views on the subject of climate change. He says the views of Randy Mann and Cliff Harris regarding our responsibility for climate change “contradict those of every relevant scientific academy.”
Apparently, David thinks the views of hundreds of other credible climate scientists are irrelevant. Yes, David, there is scientific data to dispute man-made global warming “theory.” The current administration in D.C. and, likewise, the mainstream media, doesn’t report the opposing theories because they have an agenda; they want to legislate cap and trade.
I don’t seek to change your views on this important issue, I just think you need to hear both sides. I agree with you that we all share a responsibility to protect and prolong the health of our environment, but we don’t need our government to legislate that responsibility. You don’t have to take the words of Randy and Cliff, just do a little of your own research and get “all” the information before criticizing others’ views.
