• 5:46 p.m. Lost man on Fernan Saddle has reached juncture of several USFS roads and has been told to stay put because rescuers are within 10 minutes of his location.
• 5:44 p.m. Hayden caller reports a suspicious man parked vehicle in front of neighbor’s house on Bruce Road and disappeared into the back yard of the residence.
• 5:11 p.m. Lost boyfriend in Fernan Saddle area tells dispatch that he’s walking on snowy, old logging road that has no tracks. 911 has been able to ping his location as USFS Road 499. Dispatch tells him to stop because 5 rescuers are snowmobiles will be headed his way in an hour. But boyfriend responds that he wants to keep walking & that he’ll retrace steps if he gets out of cell range.
• 4:52 p.m. Pier One, 410 W. Wilbur/Hayden, reports smell of smoke in the business.
• 4:49 p.m. Caller reports his niece received a call from her boyfriend who reports he’s lost in the Fernan Saddle area. He has a cell phone, water, & is dressed for the weather.
• 4:08 p.m. A large “washing machine” box is lying on H95 b/n Garwood & Chilco.
• 4:01 p.m. A female shoplifter is fighting w/security outside Benewah Market/Plummer.

• 3:53 p.m. Employee @ Subway inside Hayden WalMart reports finding a wallet.
• 3:50 p.m. A Greyhound bus that broke down on w/b I-90 @ M/P 30 (4th of July pass) earlier today is now abandoned and creating a road hazard.
• 3:45 p.m. A crash b/n a semi & a Jeep Cherokee is partly blocking H53 @ the stateline.
• 3:37 p.m. A wanted man named Christopher is in KCSD lobby to turn himself in.
• 3:09 p.m. Caller reports to Spirit Lake cops that galpal of her ex-hubby tried to hit her with a lamp.
• 3 p.m. New traffic lights at 15th & Harrison/CdA are not recycling, causing traffic backup.
• 2:56 p.m. S/b semi is disabled near I-90 & Pleasantview onramp causing hazard as vehicles try to drive about the truck to enter the freeway.
• 2:16 p.m. Budget Saver @ 1519 Sherman/CdA reports at least 2 unwanted persons in motel room.
• 2:12 p.m. A county vehicle is involved in a broadside crash @ Government Way & Lancaster/Hayden. Intersection is now blocked.
• 2:02 p.m. Caller reports that a DUI driver has pulled into Gittel’s parking lot, 7th & Harrison/CdA.
• 1:43 p.m. A 3YO child is having difficulty breathing in Post Falls.
• 12:56 p.m. Lights are malfunctioning @ H41 & Mullan, causing traffic to back up to Regal/PF.
