The law’s delay
What a prophetic article on the nation’s Supreme Court’s lack of action on the Roundtable page on Jan. 4. It speaks of lack of action by fairly new justices, at least by Supreme Court standards, on important cases. Many of these cases have languished for years without review or action of any kind.
Wow. They’re nothing compared to Spokane’s prosecuting office and their leader – “no decision Steve Tucker.” When it comes to making no decisions he doesn’t take a back seat to the Supreme Court justices, he’s in the driver’s seat!
How many times has he set dates for final decisions to prosecute or not to prosecute in major Spokane investigations? I have lost count. Haven’t you?
Actually, the voters of Spokane lost out when they had the chance to vote him out after he made the only decision he’d made all year – to run in November’s election. Looks like we’ll have to wait another four years to vote for him again, but it won’t take me that long. I’ve made my decision already. I wonder if Steve has. Have you?
