Rain or snow, outdoor hockey game is a spectacle
Who wouldn’t be worried about an outdoor hockey game in this weather ? After a day in the 40’s with plenty of rain, it only cools off to the high 30’s tonight, with a high on Saturday for the Spokane Chiefs game with Kootenay at Avista Stadium, of about 41, although the chance of rain tapers off.

First, the two teams meet tonight in Cranbrook. The Ice were big-time buyers at Monday’s Western Hockey League trade deadline and Jeff Bromley’s blog takes a look at their blockbuster. … The Ice also have to do a little bit of extra packing for the trip down here on Saturday. Kootenay players are looking forward to the game.
