Vote for CdA levy

As a local business owner for 30 years, grandparent and spouse of a past Coeur d’Alene School District employee, I encourage everyone to vote in favor of the 2011 replacement levy for the CdA School District.

As a businessman, I know the value of a high school diploma; as a grandparent, I want my grandchildren (who all attend CdA schools) to get the best education that is available to them so that they will be prepared for college and life as productive and compassionate members of this community.

I remember when my wife worked for the district for little/no pay and no benefits. She did it for the kids.

Over the years, we both have supported the education system in this community and we will continue to do so because all children deserve the best that we can provide them. They need our help and the schools need our support.

  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.

  • The Spokesman-Review retains the nonexclusive right to archive and re-publish any material submitted for publication.
