Vandals lead Boise State at half

Playing in front of the biggest crowd of the season — and maybe in Idaho history — the Vandals got off to an energetic start and lead Boise State 33-26 at halftime. Idaho unleashed a 13-0 flurry while Boise State went nearly eight minutes without a field goal. UI’s Kyle Barone and Jeff Ledbetter have seven points and Deremy Geiger — after a three-point play near the end of the half — has six.

Idaho shot 50 percent in the first half, while the Broncos went 2 of 13 from 3-point range and shot just 30 percent.
