Stapilus: A Nullity

Randy Stapilus of Ridenbaugh Press offers food for thought re: Thomas Woods’ “Nullification,” the book handed out by Idaho Freedom Foundation to the House State Affairs Committee this morning. Committee members found the book on their desks before when they arrived to discuss legislation by Vito Barbieri, R-Dalton Gardens, and Judy Boyle, R-Midvale, to overthrow the federal health care reform in Idaho. Of author Woods, National Public Radio reports: “As a college student in 1994, Woods helped found the League of the South, an Alabama group the Southern Poverty Law Center says has become a ‘neo-Confederate group’ seeking a second Southern secession. Woods told the AP last week he thinks states have a right of secession, but he doesn’t support the Confederacy’s return. He’s no longer a member.” You can read Randy’s complete post here.
