Eastern Washington shot just 28.6 percent (8-28) in the first half and made just 2 of 12 basket tries from 3-point range at Reese Court Thursdya night and found itself trailing Big Sky rival Portland State 26-22 at intermission.

Tremayne Johnson had 10 first-half points and four rebounds for the Eagles.  PSU, playing without two injured starters, got 6 first-half points from Phillip Thomas and Charles Odum.
