Children’s safety snubbed

I drive through three school zones every day. Usually I will be driving 30 miles an hour with a car close behind. As soon as I approach the school zone, which is 20 miles per hour, I gently slow down. The car behind me will drive within inches of my car and ride me for a few seconds. They then will speed up to about 40, as if I’m the idiot driving too slow, and pass me.

The signs clearly state “20 Miles Per Hour When Children Are Present.” As far as I know, children are present at the school around noon on weekdays. So, to all you drivers who speed in school zones, you are breaking the law and possibly endangering a child’s life. Not to mention the ticket is very expensive.
