Facts belie threat claim

Mr. James Lanham (Letters, June 23) has made some very strong statements about commentators (Hannity, Limbaugh, Boehner, McConnell, O’Reilly, etc.) without one iota of proof. I listen and watch these people every day and have never heard any of these statements.

I have never heard O’Reilly or anyone on the news say they would do “whatever it takes to destroy the commander in chief of the United States.” Why would anyone say or believe this kind of dogma without facts to back it up?

Maybe if we lived within our means (budget), we wouldn’t be in this mess!

Pleased to be a U.S. Navy veteran and citizen who has stood against socialism and big government.
