Fear reckless spending

A recent letter (July 4) from R.K. Rhoades questions the motives behind the Republican position on debt reduction. Republicans fear the reckless spending of Obama and the future health-destroying law rammed down the throats of Americans will lead to economic collapse.

Worldwide, economists fear the Obama policy of spending – borrowing 42 cents of every dollar spent – threatens economic collapse in the U.S. and the world. Republicans promised their voters that achieving spending cuts and reducing our national debt was a commitment.

Obama and Democrats spent a few trillion dollars in failed stimulus programs and joke about it. The national debt mushroomed since Obama became president and his failed promise of ending the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan resulted in us today involved in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, Pakistan and Yemen.

Democrats are experts in blaming Republicans, creating class warfare and not telling the truth about our perilous economic condition and continue to stifle job creation with overbearing regulations and mandates, and want tax increases on individuals and industries capable of creating jobs!

The left condemns and distorts and lies and the liberal media promote the Obama agenda.

Are you happy with high unemployment, food and gasoline prices? Thank Obama!
