Stop horse slaughter

The Government Accountability Office just came out with its report on the pros and cons of horse slaughter. The bottom line states that “in conclusion, horse slaughter is neither humane or profitable.”

Quite frankly, I thought our government was too entrenched with profit and greed to come to such a conclusion, and I’m overjoyed I was wrong!

Please contact your senators and Congress members at 202-224-3121 to co-sponsor SB 1176, the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act.

For those who doubt horse slaughter is inhumane, please visit YouTube twylafrancois. Our horses are our friends and not meant to be eaten any more than we are.
