Baxter has earned support

Every day the news about the economy appears to get worse. Unemployment is high, and with out-of-control government spending and $14.5 trillion in debt, one wonders when the adults in our nation will once again take charge, so we stop spending more than we produce.

Without a doubt, the most important issues facing us are the poor economy and lack of jobs. While voters can do nothing this year about the president and the other jokers in Washington, D.C., I can at least do my part by returning Sen. Jeff Baxter to Olympia as my 4th District senator.

Jeff Baxter is not a career politician, but is a successful small-business owner who understands what it takes to create jobs and get folks back to work. Jeff is one of very few legislators who has signed a paycheck on both sides.

The elected officials I want in office right now are individuals like Jeff Baxter who will fight to cut taxes, eliminate unnecessary regulations and get government off the backs of small businesses that create over 70 percent of the new jobs.

This is why I’m supporting Jeff Baxter.
