Pondering Comcast fees

Finally, hot summer days arrive in River City. It seems like summer took its time getting here, but in reality hot days start the 1st of July. Now, if Congress and the president can find a way to talk to each other, the other Washington’s temperature can return to normal.

In the mail was an “Important notice regarding Comcast agreement for residential services,” and it struck me that City Hall oversees the Comcast agreement via licensing. What is the city’s position on the Comcast or the Xfinity changes? Does anyone care that I pay a franchise cost of $0.50 and fees of $5.66 monthly? Are council members thinking about this summer’s election? Tea parties or beer parties?
