Wait your turn

I totally agree with Nicole Erickson (letter July 7) about rude people pushing their way ahead in a construction zone. I live in Colbert, so I go on Highway 2 nearly every day. Southbound traffic has been reduced to one lane for over one and a half years. There are signs telling people that the right lane is closed well over a mile ahead of the traffic light at Day-Mount Spokane Road, where cars need to get into the left lane.

Still after all this time, there are many rude and moronic people who come flying up in the right lane and expect cars to let them merge in front. Every time I am in my car and I see these people, I will do everything in my power to not let them merge in front of me. This is another example of people thinking they are better and more important than anyone else.

To those people who continue to do this, I am saying wait your turn, or get into the proper lane ahead of time. I don’t care if I leave you hanging out to dry.
