Ridpath solution

I have a simple and logical solution for the beleaguered owners of the Ridpath Hotel building, which seems to be a white elephant of sorts. Just sign it over to City Fire Marshal Lisa Jones and Deputy Building Official Dan Skindzier, and the Spokane Police Guild can hold the mortgage.

These entities seem to pretty much run Spokane anyway. Also, if the police have a personal stake in the matter, I suspect they will find a way to bring vandalism to a screeching halt! And it’s for certain they won’t have to worry about any ombudsman getting involved; they’ve got him pretty much declawed!
