Bright future

I recently read Rebecca Nappi’s interview of MacKenzie Johnson, this year’s Spokane Lilac Festival Association Lilac queen. Wow! I was impressed with the maturity, coherence and focus of this young woman. And she’s only 18.

MacKenzie has her sights set on becoming a surgeon. There’s no doubt in my mind she’ll make it.

The Greater Spokane area is fortunate in having MacKenzie Johnson call it home.
