Get ready for West Valley Days

The annual West Valley Days festivities put on by West Valley SCOPE will happen Saturday in Millwood City Park. It’s a fun event with a small town feel and you don’t even have to drive very far to get there. As always the event starts with a parade at 11 a.m. that will travel west on Grace and north on Stout until it reaches the park on Frederick. The events in the park (from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) include carnival games, prizes, a DJ, food, silent auction and more. As always there will be a free bike raffle. This year there are eight bikes of various sizes abilable and drawings will be at 1 and 2:30 p.m. Children must be present to win. The weather is supposed to be nice, so pack up the kids and head over.
