It’s time to get outside
I hear that Mother Nature intends to smile on us this weekend and send some warmer temperatures and sunshine to soothe our rain and hail battered psyches. That’s great, because it’s just in time for National Trails Day on Saturday. The Washington Trails Association is celebrating the day by putting on several work parties across the state to improve trails. Residents here can head out to the Iller Creek Trail in the Ponderosa/Tower Mountain area.
The work will include reconstructing the trail around an eroded section and other maintenance. If you’d like to spend some time helping out tomorrow, click here to register for the work party and get driving directions. The work party begins at 8:30 a.m.
