Weekend Wild Card — 6.4-5.11

In a bike ride with my wife downtown and along Rosenberry Drive Friday evening, I saw chickens in a yard along 7th Street, a couple herding three wiener — not Weiner — dogs across from Steve McCrea’s plance on West Lakeshore Drive, and young men playing volleyball at the recently submerged court at the North Idaho College beach. I also saw that Chris Guggemos/Handshake Productions is back with summer concerts on Sundays, beginning this weekend. Bluegrass music kicks off the series from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the bandshell.
