Let MLK stand tall
We need to address what happened in Spokane on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Here’s a possible answer to the way the parade was threatened at the northeast corner of Main Avenue and Washington Street.
It’s the perfect corner for a statue of Dr. Martin Luther King. The benches and surrounding walls are already there.
We’ve got Abraham Lincoln at one end of downtown. Let’s put MLK at the other.
